3. Delivers kindling wood and conducts routine maintenance of trailers and dump truck.

Wahpeton, ND - Technical Trainer
Primary Objective: To coordinate plant technical and skill enhancement training programs for production employees, to help ensure that management’s performance expectations and customers’ requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and deliver new hire training on both shifts and help new hires feel welcome by introducing them to peers and supervisors.

2. Coordinate and deliver machine operator training.

3. Coordinate the development of and update Competency-Based Training (CBT) documents. Validates CBT documents with subject matter experts.

NATURE AND SCOPE
The Production Supervisor position reports to the Plant Manager or Director of Manufacturing. The Production Supervisor is a crucial link between the hourly production employee and management staff. The incumbent has a direct impact on keeping employees safe and injury free, controlling the profitability of the division by managing manpower, productivity, material flow, preventative maintenance and control of scrap and rework.

The Production Supervisor has a direct impact on employee motivation, teamwork and morale. The individual must possess a high degree of interpersonal skills to encourage cooperation and pro-active employee involvement.

The production supervisor must be skilled at resolving problems and meeting schedules. The supervisor must be capable of operating all department equipment to provide training and assistance when required. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Develop and execute operational plans that meet departmental and plant goals in Safety, Quality, On-Time delivery, productivity, and cost efficiency.
